Grand Theft Auto 5 was updated for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2022, with Rockstar introducing requested features like ray-tracing and a performance mode - features Red Dead Redemption 2 is still sadly lacking. Each version of GTA 5 has brought with it new upgrades and features that have also been added to its PC version via patches. Rockstar's other major series, Red Dead, hasn't received the same attention from the developer, however, leading to frustration from fans of the western titles.

Since the arrival of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2020, numerous games that were released on the previous console generation have received free or paid upgrades to take advantage of new features like ray-tracing and 60fps performance modes. Rockstar followed this trend by re-releasing GTA 5 for a second time in 2022. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still waiting on a similar upgrade, despite being the more recent Rockstar title, having first released in 2018 - five years after the last Grand Theft Auto.
GTA 5
A recent upgrade has given GTA 5 another boost as Rockstar has finally added ray-traced reflections to the title's Fidelity mode. Admittedly, this was a feature that many argued should have been in the "Expanded and Enhanced" release from the start. However, it has raised the open-world game's visuals to a level expected of the current generation of gaming. Despite this, Rockstar seems to have eschewed giving Red Dead Redemption 2 a similar visual upgrade, despite the title still being available via backwards compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

PROS
Trackers are very important to cars as it will give you the location of your car if it is stolen. But at the same time it will be costly to buy new ones. So one trick is to buy a garage.
CONS
Though it might not be a property with good appearance, each car you park in a garage will get you a free tracker of its own. Keep in mind that only cars with trackers can be insured. So if you start out fresh, this could be an easy way to save a few bucks.
