The required stalactites can already be used in Creative mode thanks to regular snapshot releases full of upcoming features. In the video, the builder of the scary machine uses the old trapdoor trick to position the character model horizontally and then proceeds to show the working process in the third person. While the author had to demonstrate the functionality of the device on themselves, the mechanism can obviously be triggered separately by a dedicated operator to use it on a different player. It’s a clever way to enhance role-playing experiences on medieval-themed Minecraft servers or even use in mob farms if there’s any practical sense in doing so.

CONS
You can find around 30 wet sponges in each room. After gathering the wet sponges, they will need to be smelt with any fuel or to be dried to become regular sponges. One way to dry the wet sponges instantly is to place them in the Nether.
